The light

Searching the Scriptures

The light came into the world and men preferred darkness to light because their way of doing things was wrong. (...) But he who acts in accordance with the truth comes to the light so that it may be evident of what he has done, he has done it in God. John 3: 19-21

No one likes to be brought to light something that would discredit them or an act that would expose them. Jesus, the light of the world, was hated by the religious of the day because they were confronted with the light. Their religious acts and their legalism were exposed.

Today this light can change your life, can light up places that need light. The darkness holds too many people captive in bitterness, hatred, the desire for revenge.

Jesus will say in John 9.5 : "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."

This light is still accessible today to heal, restore, raise, reconcile, edify, encourage, love, forgive, deliver...

Listen to the voice of god

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. Letting the light of God enter our heart, leads us into a new dimension of intimacy with him... Perhaps a part of your heart needs to fully receive the light of the Lord... Take a moment and listen to what the Father tells you about it.

Praying is simple. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and He can hear everything.

Here is an example of a prayer : "Lord, I thank you for this thought. Bring to light the hidden things, the things of which I may not be aware and which prevent me from fully entering into a strong intimate relationship. with you."

Praise God

To praise God is to show Him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a moment to thank the Lord for this.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor God.

"Lord, I want to welcome your light into my life. Come and remove any veil that prevents me from fully living this intimacy with you. Bring to light all that is hidden in me. To you, be the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. So be it !"
