The love believes everything (continued)

I have heard so often that unbelievers did not want to hear about Jesus, that their hearts were closed and that the region was hostile to the gospel. The spies who came back from the promised country would have agreed with these statements. They would have actually confirmed these words and would certainly have completed these statements of disbelief. They might even have said : "We can not save these unbelievers because they are harder than we thought." And they would have decried before the Christians the promised country: "The country we have traveled to explore is a country that devours its inhabitants ; all we have seen there are men of a hard heart ; and we have seen there the Gentiles, children of the devil, of the race of the Gentiles : we were in our eyes and their ridiculous ! (Numbers 13: 31-33).

I still believe that this world is not so deep in sin that it can not be saved. I still believe that, even if sin abounds, the grace of God will be overflowing. I still believe that even though 20 have refused the gospel, 20 are ready to receive it. I still believe that the fields are already white for the harvest. I still believe that the harvest is ready. I still believe that the Holy Spirit is powerful enough to save any sinner. I still believe that a powerful awakening will manifest itself in the Francophonie and elsewhere. I persist in believing that the Holy Spirit will do his work in my life to the point of making me so malleable that he can do what he wants to save through me.

I still believe that if I get up, the glory of the Lord will rise on my life. I persist in believing the Word of God, and I persist in believing that it is powerful to overthrow the fortresses, reasonings, and all obstacles that rise with pride against the knowledge of God. I persist in believing that I and my house will serve the Lord. I still believe that no heart is too hard for God and that if he could save the sinner I was, he can save anyone. I still believe that my family will be saved. They will be saved one by one or by lot !
