The love does not do anything dishonest

A dishonest Christian in his business will be a Christian without power. Peter will say : "Let no man among you suffer for slaying, stealing, doing evil, or for interfering with the affairs of others" (1 Peter 4:15), for who can believe the testimony of a thief ? The accuser will be on the side of the unbeliever, to tell him that he can not trust this dishonest Christian.

We must behave well in this world because of our Christian witness. "Give to all what is due to them : the tax to whom you owe the tax, the tribute to whom you owe the tribute, the fear to whom you owe the fear, the honor to whom you owe the honor" (Romans 13: 7) If we pay our taxes, it is because of the name of Christ, because we want to be a good witness in and for this world. We would not want the name of Jesus to be despised because of our sin !

We must read this powerful exhortation with care and seriousness : "You who give you the name of Jew, you rest on the law, you place your pride in your God, you know his will and you discern what is important, because you is instructed by law. You are convinced to be the leader of the blind, the light of those who are in darkness, the educator of the ignorant, the master of the children because you have in the law the expression of knowledge and truth. You who teach others, you do not teach yourself ! You who preach not to steal, you steal ! You who say not to commit adultery, you commit adultery! You who have idols in horror, you loot the temples ! You who pride yourself in the law, you dishonor God by transgressing it ! For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations for your sake, as it is written" (Romans 2: 17-24).
