The love does not meditate the evil

To meditate on evil is to hope that someone will get hurt, or make plans for him to get hurt. Joseph's brothers meditated on him. They thought about it more than once, and then this thought became an object of meditation. They stopped to think, they took time for it, then, driven by their bad desires and encouraged by the author of the evil, projects were born in their heart. After having accomplished their evil design, glory to God, God has finally turned evil into good.

"Deception is in the hearts of those who meditate on evil, but joy is for those who advise peace" (Proverbs 12:20).

If we meditate evil against someone, it is because our heart is not well. Love does not suspect evil, nor does it meditate on it. It actually does the opposite. He meditates the good, he expects the good. Sometimes there are events that cause us to want to avenge ourselves by using the arm of the flesh. We must refuse it. Sometimes people have been hard on us, and we have a grudge. In a way, we hope that something bad happens to them, we hope it happens to them the same thing we did, or worse. When we find these kinds of feelings in our heart, we must be careful and make them disappear, because it shows that we have opened a door for evil in our heart. The people who hurt us are loved by God and they must be saved. We must not forget it, and we must pray for them as Jesus asked us.

To meditate on evil is also to believe that something bad will happen in a situation. When we have a heart for the lost, we must never imagine that "it will necessarily be a failure because their heart is too hard". We must think big. We must think with the faith of God. You can not go defeatist, but you have to go out and conquer (Revelation 6: 2).
