The love hopes everything

When we love, we believe the best of people. We hope for the best, and we do not suspect evil. Love is full of faith, of living and true faith. Love is full of hope. He always hopes and till the end. It reminds me of the conversion of my brother-in-law Gwen. I was about 19 years old, and Gwen was Rastafarian. With the Bible in his pocket at all times, he sang a message of hope in a reggae band. But he was lost.

One evening, after talking to him, it seemed impossible for me to save him. It was anchored in false conceptions of the Bible and of Christ, because in this religion Jesus manifests himself through many people, and their Messiah is an emperor of Ethiopia, called Haile Selassie. They still call him King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Elected of God, Defender of the Faith and Light of the World. In other words, he has been attributed all the attributes of the true Messiah, Jesus.

When I saw that he had brought a frame of this idol to my sister, I found it really crazy. So I spoke with him and he seemed to be completely seduced. And that's what he was. I came out of this discussion, at the door of his home, arms dangling, completely discouraged. But, I loved him. That's why, for a month, I prayed for him with determination and zeal, while I was watching a campsite, during a seasonal work. I was hoping for his salvation, and it was because I loved him that I hoped for his salvation, and it was because I hoped for his salvation that I prayed for him with such determination, asking God to save him. and open his eyes. And that's what happened.

One evening, on his way home (they lived together), finding our group of young people who had settled there for a meeting, he opened his Bible after the meeting, challenged by all those young people who were boiling for God, and the Lord the true Lord revealed himself to him through a verse of Revelation. He was saved !
