The love hopes everything (continued)

What we often miss to persevere and bring forth a soul is love. Love hopes and it is by loving that we will succeed in praying with perseverance. It is the lack of love that makes us discouraged.

Love never fails, but it is always full of hope. Love is not based on something visible, but love is based on a living hope.

I loved so much my brother-in-law Gwen. I loved his voice, I loved his gift for music, I loved his character, I loved his humor, I loved who he was. And it's because I loved him so much that I did not want him to get lost. I prayed for love for him. I prayed for him fervently because I loved him and he was precious to me. And if it were precious to my eyes, how much more was it in the sight of my God !

We must grow in love because when we grow up in this love, we will pray for people. It's the lack of love that makes us forget people. We see the lost, and we do not pray for them. We see our lost children, we pray for a few days, then we give up. We think it's impossible for them to be saved. Why ? Because we are looking at things visible. Hope does the opposite, it does not rely on anything, or should I write, it relies on quite the opposite. She relies on love.

When we love people, it seems impossible for them to go to hell. When we do not love them enough, it seems impossible that they can be saved and go to heaven. But when we love them, it is unthinkable for us to see them die without Christ. So, it is through love that we spend time praying for them, and every time the Holy Spirit urges us to do so, we respond positively, praying with perseverance. We begin to perceive their salvation. We begin to see them serving the Lord ! And that's what will happen! They will be saved, and he will serve the King at our side.
