The love rejoices in the truth

The lie and the truth are diametrically opposed, as are the desires of the flesh and the spirit. The flesh is ephemeral, it thinks of the present moment. The spirit lives in eternity. The flesh can easily rejoice in lying. The recreated mind rejoices in the truth. The flesh, the unruly man, lives in the lie. His whole life is plunged into an obscure lie, preventing him from contemplating the glory of God and the truth that is Jesus Christ. But whoever lives in Christ is immersed in the truth. He must stay there. There is a spirit of falsehood, but there is also a spirit of truth, and it will always prevail over the other. The Spirit is the truth (1 John 5: 6).

Jesus taught the Pharisees about their father. He corrected them about their family tree. They were persuaded to have Abraham as their father, but Jesus revealed to them that their father was Satan himself, the father of lies (John 8:44). To make this statement, Jesus had based himself on an observation : the Pharisees did not love him. Every heart that does not love God is evil, and the love of God is not in him (1 John 4: 8), just as he who does not keep his commandments (1 John 2: 4).

Are not you happy to know Jesus ? Are not you happy to belong to him and to love him ? If you love him and keep his commandments, you are of God. It is so easy when we allow the flesh to manifest, to forget the joy of our salvation, to forget the joy of knowing the truth. She lived among us and she now lives in us. Oh, what glory, what wonder, what ineffable truth !

I would like to encourage you today to praise God right now. Let your heart express itself in praise to God for His salvation. The more you rejoice in the Lord, looking at his face and contemplating it, the easier it will be for you to shine on others. We will see that you have something special, and we will see the benefits. We will observe on your face the reflection of the glory of his presence.

Never forget your intimacy with God in the truth. Pour out your heart in adoration. Spend an hour in his presence.
