The love supports everything (continued)

"We invite you, brothers and sisters : warn those who live in disorder, comfort those who are slaughtered, support the weak, show patience to all. Be careful that no one will harm others for evil, but always seek the good between you and all men. Always be happy. Pray unceasingly, express your gratitude in all circumstances, for it is the will of God for you in Jesus Christ. Do not extinguish the Spirit, do not despise the prophecies, but examine and remember what is good. Abstain from any form of evil. May the God of peace lead you to total holiness, and may your whole being, the spirit, the soul, and the body, be kept blameless at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ ! He who is faithful is also he who will do it" (1 Thessalonians 5: 14-24).

We must support the weak, and not seek our interest. We must seek the interest of their salvation. We must do everything for the Gospel so that we do not become a stumbling block for those we want to be saved. Remember they are lost. We do not want to help them go to hell, but we want to help them turn to the Lord Jesus. We do not want to be a counterexample for the gospel, but we want to be a good example of a redeemed person by grace.

We must be careful not to render evil for evil. Neither in words nor in actions. Joy must remain in us, and continue to manifest. Do not be fooled by these people ! Stay in the spirit ! Pray unceasingly in your heart in their presence. Jesus learned obedience through the things he suffered. He endured blows and unfounded accusations. He endured cruel and wicked men, without getting carried away in the flesh. He endured temptation. We are sometimes tempted to fall back into the flesh, but we must resist the devil, because he will flee sooner or later if we have the right attitude and if we remain in the spirit. This work that we impose on ourselves will allow God to sanctify us and we will be blameless. "Think of him who has borne such opposition against him from sinners, so as not to be depressed by discouragement. You have not yet resisted to the blood in your fight against sin" (Hebrews 12: 3-4).
