The mentality of David

Saul was a man of war. He knew what he was talking about. He used to "come and go". David was "a shepherd of sheep". It was a kind of dreamer. But not just any dreamer. He often lingered on the sky. There are many dreamers, they look at the sky and linger on the stars. David, he saw well beyond the stars. He perceived the Invisible. He perceived the one who is and who has always been. Plunging into his eyes, he imagined that everything was possible. He began to think differently about his family. He widened his limits and redefined, by plunging his eyes to the Invisible, the possibilities. It is as if, suddenly, the limits that had been instilled in him, the words that had formed him, the teaching that had been given to him, had to be redefined by the one who is invisible.

In front of the bear, David was victorious. In front of the lion, he was once again the winner. When, for the first time, the bear entered the land he was to watch, David welcomed him with a thought different from that which his brothers would have had. His brothers had perceived nothing, his brothers lived in the natural, the reasoning, but he lived in the invisible. He succeeds in grasping the truths of the invisible to show its power. And when he did, it was no longer him, and he realized then that within him, an invisible force, in connection with heaven, was manifested in faith, power, zeal, and boldness.

In front of the terrifying bear represented by the unbeliever, we can easily be frightened, of an unreasonable fear. This fear comes from the fact that we did not dwell long enough on the Invisible. We have not looked enough at him who sits in heaven on a throne of glory that no one can support. We must look fixedly at the Father, and renew our thoughts with his. I encourage you to look today beyond the stars, and absorb your Father's thoughts : does he tell you that you can not do it ? What's he saying ? Is he talking about the impossible ? What does he show you ?
