The misery of the separation eternal

Many people have not heard the gospel because you have not testified to them yet. The consequence of this is the separation eternal ; it's not just a temporary separation. It's too important.

One day a brother was invited to dinner at someone's house. As he was very learned and eloquent, he spoke almost only intellectual subjects. Another older friend who lived in the neighborhood was also present at this dinner. Since they were both very intellectual, they talked for a long time. It was late, and their host invited them for the night. The room of the older friend was right in front of that brother's room.

Shortly after going to bed, this brother heard the sound of a fall on the floor. When he went to the other room, he found the friend lying on the floor, dead. Other people hurried to the room. The brother said sadly : "If I had known that it was going to happen, I would not have spoken as I did two hours ago ! I would have shown him the eternal things. I did not even spend five minutes talking about salvation. I did not give him the opportunity to believe. If I had known what I know now, I would have done my best to tell him about the Lord's Cross for him. But it's too late ! If I had told him those words at dinner, you would have laughed at me because I was talking about these things at an inconvenient time. But it's too late now. I hope you listen now. Everyone needs to believe in the Lord Jesus and His cross !".

There is an separation eternal ; this separation is not only temporary. What a tragedy ! When the opportunity is over, the person will be eternally deprived of heaven. We must be on the lookout for every opportunity to witness to others.
