D. L. Moody was very good at leading men to salvation. He resolved one day to preach the gospel to at least one person a day, whether he gave a message that day or not. One night he went to bed, and remembered that he had not preached the gospel that day. What was he going to do ?

He got dressed and went out trying to find someone he could talk to. It was already midnight when he looked at his watch ; the streets were empty. Where could he find someone at this late hour ? The only person he could talk to was a policeman on duty : "You must believe in the Lord." The policeman was not in the mood at that moment, and he sent Moody a little angry, saying : "Do you have anything better to do than to try to persuade me to believe in Jesus at this hour of the night ?". Moody went home after exchanging a few words with him. But the policeman was touched by Moody's words. A few days later, he visited Moody and was saved.

As soon as a person is saved, she should make the decision before the Lord to lead men to Him. Everyone should have a list with the names of the souls he thinks he will save during the year. He should make the decision to save ten or twenty a year. Then he should begin to pray for them.

General prayers are unnecessary prayers. If you say to the Lord : "O Lord ! Save the sinners !" Is a prayer too general.

You must have a specific goal in mind. If you want ten, aim for ten.

If you want twenty, aim twenty.

You can prepare a notebook in which you write the names of the people you have won to the Lord. At the end of the year, you can count the number of those who are saved and those who are not saved yet. Continue to pray for those who are not yet saved. All brothers and sisters should put this into practice.
