"How then shall they call on him whom they have not believed ? And how will they believe in him whom they have not heard ? And how will they hear about it, if there is no one who preaches ? (Romans 10:14)
God must not find anyone, he must find someone! And he seeks us day after day to fulfill his will. Oh, if Jesus was so pleasing to God, it was because he was doing just what was pleasing to him : his will. If we decide for obedience, then opportunities will open.
Coming out of the meeting I told you yesterday, and passing through a corridor, I saw a young man on a bench writing on his phone. I recognized him immediately, and at the same time the hand of God ! I had not seen this young man for almost 2 years ! I told him about the Lord on a summer day in the street when I went out to proclaim the gospel. This young man was cycling, and I had him stopped. This young man is called Michael and never speaks in public. I learned that apparently, he managed to express himself at home, but never outside. At the time, I prayed for him and gave him a gospel with my cell number written on the front page.
This young man still did not speak, unable to say anything, but not being silent. I was really happy to see him again, and I told him about it. Since I had my Bible with me, I showed him the Exodus passage where Moses said to God : "Ah ! Lord, I am not a man with easy speech, neither yesterday nor the day before yesterday, nor even when you speak to your servant ; for my mouth and tongue are embarrassed. The LORD said to him : "Who made the mouth of man ?" (Exodus 4: 10-11). I also read him the passage of Jeremiah for whom God had made plans, but Jeremiah replied : "Ah ! Eternal Lord ! Behold, I do not know how to speak, for I am a child" (Jeremiah 1: 6). I encouraged him, prophesied about his life, picked up his phone number, gave him back my details and prayed for him. And we, God gave us a mouth. Do we use it ?
