The power of the hope

"Now faith is a firm assurance of the things that are hoped for." Hebrews 11.1

Hope is an incredible stimulus to see God acting. Imagine a prayer meeting without hope ... The atmosphere would become cold and heavy. However, if the room is crowded with women and men filled with hope in their God, everything becomes different.

We believe that Jesus is able to heal, to save, to change evil into good ...

Faith feeds on hope. Without hope your faith is sick. People often say : "As long as there is life, there is hope." It is true, but we could also say : "As long as there is hope, there is life". To take away the hope of a man's heart is to withdraw the desire to go forward, to undertake, to pray and to act.

Our faith rests on the hope that Jesus Christ is resurrected and it changes everything. Buddha is still in his tomb, Confucius too ... but Jesus won the victory. Death can not hold him back and that is where we place our faith, in the hope that Jesus is still alive and that he lives in us, that he holds our life in his hands. We believe that Jesus is capable of healing, of saving, of changing evil into good, of transforming our lives. Yes, our faith is a firm assurance of the things we hope for.

One day, as I was preaching about healing, a man approached me because he had a hip problem. He limped sharply. As he went up the church, he realized that as he walked, God healed him. Once I came to pray, not for his healing, but for the Lord's sake. Obviously, his faith was stimulated by the hope he placed in God.

My prayer for you today: be renewed in hope. The Lord has won the victory over your failures, your tears, your diseases and your sufferings. Believe it, hope in him, he did not say his last word.
