The Present Greatness of Christ

Scripture tells us that we have been given the same life full of energy and resurrection as that which is in Christ : "And if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also make life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you" (Romans 8:11). It fills our mortal bodies with physical strength through the very energy of God.

Our faith must simply go beyond death. We need to look at everything that is dead and proclaim : "Jesus never gives up, even when things seem dead." We need a faith that refuses to give up, whatever the subject, How desperate the situation seems.

Christ will surprise us with His power. In fact, if you hold on, with unwavering faith, you can be sure to see a glorious manifestation of His life of resurrection. Only the Lord and you will know all that underlies His miracle in intimacy, but He will astonish you and make you vibrate while He will show you His great glory.

"You who were dead by your trespasses and by the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has restored you to life with him" (Colossians 2:13).

"But God ... because of the great love with which he loved us, we who had died by our trespasses, brought us back to life with Christ" (Ephesians 2: 4-5).

"It is the spirit that quickeneth" (John 6:63). "The last Adam became a life-giving spirit" (1 Corinthians 15:45).

As His message is clear ! The Holy Spirit resides in us to bring His constant life. It is the present greatness of Christ.
