The Prince of the peace

Hatred brings conflicts, while love covers all faults. Proverbs 10:12

Hating, discriminating against those who look different, who speak differently, who have different national origins or who act differently from the dominant group, is a universal feature of human nature. I say there is only one possible solution and it is a vital experience with Christ from all races. In Christ, the middle wall of the partition is broken, says the Bible. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither black or white or yellow or red. We could be a great brotherhood in Christ. However, until we come to recognize him as the Prince of the Peace and receive his love in our hearts, racial tensions will increase.

Prayer for the day

I pray for your love, Lord Jesus, to overcome hatred or prejudice whenever these ugly transgressions seep into my heart.
