The real success

Searching the Scriptures

If anyone wants to be my disciple, let him renounce himself, take up his cross and follow me ! Indeed, whoever wants his life will lose it, but whoever loses it because of me and the good news will save it. And what good will it do for a man to gain the whole world, if he loses his soul ? What will a man give in exchange for his soul ? Mark 8:34-37

What would be the secret to a successful and successful life ? Here is some advice from Jesus which, it must be admitted, is the opposite of all natural and human logic :

1 / Put it first and let it rule your life

Jesus knows everything and sees everything. He is a much better advisor than you are. Surrender to his driving is the safest choice you can make !

2 / Do not rebel against hardship, accept suffering

It is by no means about valuing suffering as something positive. But suffering is inevitable since sin entered the world. What Jesus means is that it should not be an obstacle to your victories and that you should not choose according to the suffering but according to what is right, what God tells you.

3 / Follow the example of Jesus

You are not alone and on your own. Jesus walks in front of you and shows you the way. He is the way. Without it you are sure to fall, but with it you cannot get lost.

4 / Offer your life as a sacrifice and let Christ develop in you

It does not seem popular. Yet if Christ grows in you and you offer your whole life to Him, then you will find your true "you", your redeemed, transformed, and liberated "you" !

Listen to the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. Ask God if there are any areas of your life that you have not yet left in His hands.

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example prayer : "Lord, I choose to give you first place and succeed in my life according to your standards. You are the author of all my victories."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Thank you Lord for these precious advices which allow me to succeed in my life. Yours be the kingdom, the power and the glory, amen !"
