"So David arose from the ground, bathed, anointed himself and changed his clothes, then he went to the Lord sanctuary and worshiped him. Then he went home, asked them to prepare a meal and began to eat. " 2 Samuel 12.20

 

As a pastor, I have seen people get angry against God when things went wrong, even if their problems were the result of their own sin. David, however, does not react well. After the death of his son, he bathed and went to the house of the Lord to worship. David knew he would find the answer to his problem in approaching God, not away from it.
Worship is the key that allows you to bounce back when things go wrong in your life.

Worship is the key to bouncing back when things go wrong in life. When we praise God, we avert our eyes from ourselves. Worship brings us to focus on the greatness of God ; then we realize that it is much bigger than any problem in the world. It is greater than anything that goes wrong in your life.

Although, like David, you are the cause of your problems, God's mercy is greater. The blood of Jesus covers all sins.

Worship God today, for he is good and his love endures forever !
