How do you see your future ? Do you have dreams, goals you are trying to achieve ? What do you think about your life? Does it satisfy you or do you hate it ? Does the devil steal the dreams, hopes and plans of God for you ?
When the devil lies and says you can not, remember that the Word of God says you can do whatever God asks of you ...

No one is immune to problems. We are all struggling with disappointments, broken dreams, people who do not like us or even attack us. The devil wants to use these difficulties to discourage us and prevent us from advancing and accomplishing God's plans for us.

Your way of thinking, your attitude, your words and your actions determine whether you are stuck in your problems or if you advance in God's plans. Because our thoughts prepare us for action, we must make the decision to think like Jesus and to agree with what the Word says. Let me give you an example.

During the first years of our ministry, our program was broadcast on a certain television channel once a week. At the time, it was very important for us to pass on this channel. One day, they called us to say they were canceling our contract because of some changes in their programming. I was terribly upset and wondered how they could simply cancel our contract. It is extremely frustrating to be the victim of an injustice and to feel that something must be done, yet totally helpless.

Shortly afterwards, during a worship, I felt that God was speaking to my heart and asked me to forgive the people who had made this decision and to hand him the situation. The devil wanted me to believe that nothing would change. The truth was that if I trusted God and abandoned all this to him, he would intervene. That is what I did by His grace. About a year later, this same channel resumed contact with us to propose us to broadcast our program daily.

The devil wanted me to remain stuck in my anger about the injustice I had suffered. If I had listened to him, we probably would not have made much progress in God's will for us.

We must learn to recognize the lies of Satan and stop believing. The secret is to take a quick look at our problems and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus. It is then that we can have the thought of Christ and see things as God sees them.

When the devil lies and says that you can not, remember that the Word of God affirms that you can do all that God asks of you through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). When he claims that it is impossible for you to realize what God has put in your heart, remember that all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26 and Luke 18:27).

A decision for today

Make the decision to reject the lies that hold you back and have a good attitude. Then the devil can not do anything against you. Remember that nothing is too difficult for God !
