Did it not curious that Jesus could do miracles everywhere except in his own city ? The problem was not the place but the attitude of people.
God wants to do great things in your life !

The Bible says : "He went in his hometown and began to teach in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said : Whence hath this wisdom and these mighty works Is not this the son of carpenter ? [...] and it was to them a stumbling But Jesus said : A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his own house" (v.54-55, 57).

How did Jesus respond ? He left them and continued driving ! Faith refuses to block in the past. Beware of "old friends". They will always see your narrower universe than it is. They will try to trap you in a period of your life is over. They will seek to evaluate you based on who you were, not that you have become or course that you will become one day. They will want to keep up with them in the album of memories, and break the momentum you need to elevate you. They prevent you from looking to the future. Do not let them do. God wants to do great things in your life, but we need you pass the "good old days".

A thought for today

The past is the past, we can rewrite it, we can only replay it again and again. It's time to write the rest of your story. The future is before you as a virgin land waiting for the pioneers exploring. Then go !
