"In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death." 2 Kings 20.1

 

Madam, just let me pray for you ! I truly believe that God can heal you ! Such were the words which I addressed to this mother of thirty years with cancer and condemned by medicine that had seen fit to place in palliative care. Emaciated and fatigued by multiple treatments, she nodded to give me his consent.
Whatever your disease, turn now to the one who is able to heal you.

It was useless to make long prayers, because she could barely stand. So I asked gently hand on his shoulder asking God to act : Father, heal her please ! And gradually God began to intervene in his health and when his work was finished, it was completely healed.

It happens from time to time I meet on my way and each time I feel the same enthusiasm, because I can see the glory of God ! "I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord." Psalms 118.17

Are you in pain ? Are there any disease that cripples you so much despair settled in your heart ?

This was the case for Hezekiah, king of Judah who, faced with the disease, achieved all its vulnerability and the fact that he was nothing without God ! Then he "set his face against the wall, and prayed to the Lord : Ô Lord Remember how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and I have done what is right ! in your eyes ! "2 Kings 20.2-3

It seems that this prayer has triggered a real miracle. Hezekiah received healing ! "Thus saith the LORD God of David thy father : I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears : behold, I will heal you." 2 Kings 20.5

While no one is immunized against the disease, we are called to experience divine healing. Indeed, the will of God for you is this : "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as prospers your soul." 3 John 1.2

Whatever your disease, turn now to the one who is able to heal you. "My soul, bless the Lord, and forget not all his benefits : It is he who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases" Psalm 103.2-3

A proclamation for today

Father, I proclaim that I am healed ! In the name of Jesus !
