It is by faith that we recognize that the world was formed by the word of God, so that what we see was not made of visible things. Hebrews 11.3

Chapter 11 of the Epistle to the Hebrews tells us about the journey of these heroes of faith whose history was marked by the imprint of God. Everyone's walk, far from being relaxing, was difficult, trying, punctuated by various obstacles and fights.

How did these men "of the same nature" as you and me manage to stay upright in the midst of extreme and most agonizing situations, in order to continue their walk, until the accomplishment of God's purposes ? The Word gives us the answer in Hebrews 11:3 : "It is by faith".

What is faith ? "It is a firm confidence in the realization of what one hopes for, it is a way of already possessing it in advance. To believe is to be absolutely certain of the reality of what one does not see" (Hebrews 11.1).

God's plans for your life are so grand, so beautiful, and so wondrous that to access them you will need strong faith, rooted in His promises, faith that grasps those promises even before you see them fulfilled.

Faith and deeds go hand in hand. Whatever God asks of you, obey and let Him do the inexplicable in your life !

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. Faith and deeds go hand in hand. What step of faith is the Lord asking you to take at this time ?

Talk to God, share your feelings with him. Share himself, perhaps the difficulties that are yours at the moment. Here is a sample prayer : “Lord, this is what I am going through (name your situation). However, I choose to walk by faith, for you have plans for peace and not misfortune for me. I trust you fully."

Praise God

Thank God for His strength and help now. Show him your gratitude.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. Write down concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our journey is coming to an end. Let's pray together.

"My God, I thank you because you see much further than me and you want the best for my life. Yours is the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
