This wonderful gift of the grace

"For by grace you are saved through faith. And it does not come from you, it is the gift of God. It is not by works, that no one may boast" (Ephesians 2: 8-9).

Our life in Christ begins in grace, it continues in grace and will end in grace. Once we understand this, our life is marked by freedom instead of slavery, by joy instead of sadness, by rejoicing instead of fear. Spending time in the presence of God then seems a happy present, because we come to understand that we are no longer servants, but friends of Jesus.

To understand and to grasp this wonderful gift of grace does not mean that we have to discipline ourselves for our walk with Him. Grace does not free us from our obligation to constantly seek His face.

Here is my advice for you : do not neglect to pray, but do it with the oil of God's grace. Read your Bible with grace or you will close it by feeling condemned and frightened rather than enlightened and enlivened. Why ? Because it is the word of God and grace that shows us our incapacity while enabling us to recognize His ability. And be careful not to abandon the group that is your responsibility, these Christians who love you, encourage you and challenge you all at the same time.

Grace descends upon us from the throne of the Lord, and grace is what will draw the world to our life and witness. When people see the grace of God in us, they will recognize that our hearts have been won by grace and not by our works.

Open your heart to God's grace today, so that your life may reflect His goodness to all who surround you.
