Toothache ?

Romans 8:27 – and he who searches hearts knows...

I don't know if you've ever had a toothache, but ouch ouch ouch, it hurts a lot and it is clear that the pain spreads so much throughout the jaw that sometimes you think it's a certain tooth that makes us suffer and in fact, the pain comes from another tooth, sometimes very close but in any case, not the one we thought.

In the same way, those around us often see our pain but despite their good will, they do not always have the knowledge necessary to provide care. Obviously, only a dentist can fully see where the problem is because if you have already tried, it is not easy to see inside your mouth and even less inside your teeth.

Sometimes there are things in our hearts that cause us great pain and we are convinced that it comes from such a problem, such suffering. There are also sometimes addictions that we cannot get rid of. We focus on the addiction when the cause is elsewhere.

Like our mouth, we do not always have a good view of our heart. Nevertheless, when we approach God and open it to him so that he can take an "x-ray", it sometimes happens, just like this dentist, that he shows us that the problem comes from elsewhere and that it is that is the first thing to take care of.

This morning, I would like to tell you through these lines that your fight may not be the right one and I invite you to approach God and ask him to come and heal, to heal, to free you from cause of suffering. His way of proceeding is rarely ours and his priorities are often not the same as us. Trust Him, the Holy Spirit will bring a diagnosis and a fair and fully adapted healing and/or deliverance process.
