Under our eyes

All human beings can contemplate it [the work of God], everyone sees it from afar. Yes, the greatness of God is beyond what we can know. Job 36.25-26

Over the seasons, everyone sees the changing spectacle of nature before their eyes, wherever they go. In spring, the release of the first flowers after winter heralds the return of sunny days. The buds on the trees become promises of flowers, then of fruits. We enjoy it throughout the summer and into the fall. In this season, the forests then offer magnificent paintings, their leaves changing from green to yellow, brown or red. They then form colorful rugs, accumulating at the feet of bare trees. Sadness can overwhelm us when we think of these warning signs of winter, cold, fog and grayness. Yet here again, winter also draws magnificent landscapes, with or without snow. Here we will see the misty ponds and their filtered light; there, cobwebs full of pearls shining in the sunlight, hanging from the branches like garlands.

Yes, who knows how to look will see, with the apostle Paul, that, since the creation of the world, the works of God speak […] of his invisible perfections […] ; since ancient times, men […] have before their eyes the earth and the sky and all that God has created... (Romans 1.20 Living Word).

Open your eyes and see how great God is !
