Wake up !

Search the Scriptures

This is why I remind you, rekindle the flame of the gift of God that you received when I laid my hands on you. 2 Timothy 1.6

God's love is unconditional and eternal. I remember how amazed and filled with joy I was the day God revealed to me how much he loved me. I felt like I was going to explode !

But after a while, I got used to the fact that God loves me, and I didn't feel the same passion anymore. Did you also go through this experience ? If so, I believe you can do something about it. Paul told Timothy to wake up, rekindle the flame, and rekindle the ashes of the fire he had once had.

Paul's message to Timothy is God's message to you today : wake up ! Stop living being tired of your daily routine. We must remember that passion is first a decision about how we approach life, before it becomes a feeling.

So make the decision today to get up each morning rejoicing in your relationship with your Creator. Wake up and be amazed to have God in your life !

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. Do you need to rekindle the flame of your love for God ?

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is a sample prayer : "Lord, I always want to be amazed by you! I don't want to live without passion. Knowing you is wonderful, and I choose to live passionately about my relationship with you."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ? Write down concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Thank you, Lord, for you do not change and have always loved me passionately. To you be the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
