Walking in the obedience

I confess that Satan has no power over me, because the Word of God says that the blood of Jesus has redeemed me completely.

In the Passover ceremony, the blood of the lambs was collected in containers. Once transferred from the containers to the homes of the Israelites, they were safe on one condition : They had to stay in their homes.

This principle is very important : the blood only protects those who obey. You are safe if you obey. Let's take a look at 1 Peter 1: 2. Peter greeted the 'pilgrims of dispersion' [Greek diaspora] (verse 1). It was specifically addressed to Jews outside of Israel, who were "chosen [or chosen] according to the prescience of God the Father, by the sanctification of the Spirit, that they may become obedient, and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ."

Note that obedience comes before sprinkling. The blood is not sprinkled on the disobedient ones. The blood does not protect those who are out of the house. It protects only those who are behind him or who are covered. So, remember, even if the protection of the blood is perfect, it only concerns the people who obey.

Prayer of the day :

Thank you Lord, for the blood of Jesus. I proclaim today that I walk in obedience to you. I confess that Satan has no power over me, because the Word of God says that the blood of Jesus has redeemed me completely. Amen.
