Walking with God

Searching the Scriptures

It was because of his faith that Enoch was taken to escape death, and he was never found because God had taken him. Before he was taken up, he had indeed received a testimony that he was pleasing to God. Hebrews 11.5

Enoch received the highest price God could give. He just took it off to stay with him. In our lives, we may be intimidated by his example and fall short of this kind of faith. But Enoch gave us the model of a life pleasing to God.

It's a life where you never stop walking with him. Centered on him, filled with his Word, aware of his presence. It is like entering a new sphere. It's like heaven on earth, walking and talking with God endlessly. Listening to her voice.

God wants each of us to walk with him, just like Enoch did. When we do, we can enter a new dimension of life, in which it is possible for us to rise above our problems.

Of course, we always go through temptations and trials, and we always face difficulties and challenges. But because we walk with God, we no longer experience the same depths of fear and worry, doubt and restlessness.

We become serene and confident. We receive his wisdom and insight into our lives and the world. We have his strength and his peace in every situation. We are at peace. We are transformed.

This is essentially what the Christian life is. It is a life we ​​enter by faith. God offers you these kinds of rewards, if you come to him in faith, believing that "he is the rewarder of those who seek him." (Hebrews 11.6)

Today look for him. Have faith in him. Walk with him.

Listen to the voice of god

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. Ask God what might keep you from walking with Him like Enoch.

Praying is simple. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and He can hear everything.

Here is an example of a prayer : "Father, I want to walk with you as Enoch did. I surrender my life to you. Change me. Help me listen to you more attentively. Cast away my concerns and my fear. I think I won the victory thanks to you !"

Praise God

To praise God is to show Him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a moment to thank the Lord for this.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the lord

Our route for the day comes to an end. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, I thank you for the model of life that you gave me in Enoch, a person of the same nature as me. I choose to persevere in this relationship of intimacy with you. Help me, each day to take time in your presence to grow in my relationship with you. Thine are the reign, the power and the glory forever. So be it !"
