We are not alone

... Peter, tied with two chains, was sleeping between two soldiers ; sentries posted in front of the door guarded the prison. Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared and a light shone in the cell. The angel woke up Peter by hitting him on the side and said to him : Get up quickly ! The chains fell from his hands. Then the angel said to him : Put on your belt and your sandals. This is what he did. The angel said to him again : Put on your cloak and follow me. Peter went out and followed him, not knowing that what the angel was doing was real : he thought he had a vision. They passed the first guard, then the second, and they came to the iron gate that leads to the city. The door opened by itself before them ; they went out and walked into a street. The angel immediately left Peter. Acts 12.6-10

Do you feel like you are alone in what you are going through ?

This text from the Book of Psalms is incredibly encouraging. He tells us that the wicked spy on the righteous to kill him ; but may God not leave the righteous in the hands of the wicked. He doesn't let him be condemned. (Psalm 37.32-33)

While the enemy of our souls spies on us, God never loses sight of us. Why ? Because he has plans for the future for his children.

There may be situations in your life where you feel that there are too many doors to go through, but I like this phrase : "The door opened by itself before them"...

We serve the God of the supernatural, so today, no matter what battle awaits you, no matter how thick and how many doors you have to go through, God remains in control.

Advice for you today

Let us remember that we live in a fallen world where good is not always rewarded, and where evil is not always punished. Let us also remember that the history of the righteous - of the justified - does not end in despair. Why ? For it is undoubtedly God's plan that will ultimately be fulfilled.
