We speak easily of our "intimate"

God has transferred us into a relationship of communion with him. However, we must not rely on this communion because, I can be in communion with my wife by the alliance of marriage, and fall back into the first phase, that of contact ! And it is in this trap that many true Christians fall. They rely on the covenant to despise the nature and the person with whom they established it. This is the case of many couples : the spouses think that, by the simple fact that they have married, they are in communion, but this communion must be maintained. Not only must she talk, but she must also develop and reach the stage of intimacy.

Intimacy is not about having a sexual relationship with one's spouse, just as intimacy with God is not prayer. Millions of people, even Christians, pray without being in touch with God or intimate with God. This is why we must not be deceived about our true relationship with God. We must aspire for more, we must aspire to a relationship that leads us to consider and "experience" God every moment of our days.

David spent his time contemplating God. He praised God, he questioned him, he wrote to him, he thought of him, he loved him deeply. Had God revealed himself to David more than to another ? Did he make a difference ? I do not believe ! God will not reveal himself more to the pastor than to whom he preaches. God will be revealed to him who is thirsty. And David was thirsty, "like a doe who sighs after streams of water" (Psalms 42: 2). By developing a real intimacy with God, we will talk about him easily. I noticed that all the preachers who had relationship problems with their wives did not talk about their wives. They do not talk about it because they do not have intimacy, they are not friends of their wife. They have with her simple contacts, at best, a relationship. On the other hand, the fiance speaks at the entrance of the gates of the city of his fiancée, and his fiancee does the same. He talks about it so much that the whole family and the city will soon know that the wedding is coming !
