What do you see ?

Romans 10:17 - So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard is from the word of Christ.

Our sight is constantly solicited by all kinds of good and bad images and it is important to watch over our gaze so that it does not lead us to sin, doubt or otherwise.

The enemy of our souls takes pleasure in showing us things, it can be the state of our finances, the state of a relationship, an inventory of our lives which sometimes seems miserable...

But what does God say about it ?

What is the truth is the Word of God and only the Word of God. Not what our eyes can see but what God says.

Some time ago, I was expecting loved ones to my heart for the holidays. That very morning, I looked at the Internet to see what time exactly the train left and there, amazement, I saw that it was written : “Because of strikes, this train is not running”. This caused in my heart a real tear and a great sorrow because I awaited this moment with so much impatience, everything was ready to receive them, my husband and I, we were so happy... said : "Wait for the train's departure time to make a phone call, let God do it, wait !". I spoke to my Father in Heaven, and I did what my husband told me, I waited. At the time of the departure of the train, I called and there, surprise, the train had left for our metropolis as agreed. Hallelujah !

What a lesson ! What the eye sees can be very deceptive even though it seems so real, but what God says and promises always comes true.

I hope these few lines will be an encouragement to many.
