What do you see ?

Romans 10:17 – So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Our sight is constantly solicited by all kinds of good or bad images and it is important to watch over our gaze so that it does not lead us to sin, doubt or other. The enemy of our souls takes pleasure in making us see things, it can be the state of our finances, the state of a relationship, an inventory of our lives that sometimes seems miserable...

But what does God say about this ? What is truth is the Word of God and only the Word of God. Not what our eyes can see but what God says.

Some time ago, I was expecting loved ones for the holidays. The same morning, I look on the net to see what time the train leaves and there, amazement, I see that it is written : “Because of strikes, this train is not running”. This caused a real heartbreak and great pain in my heart because I was waiting for this moment with so much impatience, everything was ready to receive them, my husband and I were rejoicing so much...

So my husband said to me : “Wait until the train leaves to call, let God do it, wait !". I spoke to my Heavenly Dad, and I did what my husband told me, I waited. At the time of the departure of the train, I called and there, surprise, the train had indeed left for our metropolis as agreed. Hallelujah !

What a lesson ! What the eye sees can be very deceiving even though it seems so real, but what God says and promises always comes to pass. I hope these few lines will be of encouragement to many.
