What does the Bible tell us ?

Maybe you've never opened a Bible ? Maybe you don't think this book is for you ? Agree to take a few minutes to read these lines, as a very short summary of the contents of the Bible.

This presents the perfect creation of the earth and of man by God, then the entry of sin into the world through man's disobedience to his Creator. From there, there is a barrier between God and his creature. The central subject of the Bible is thus the solution proposed by God to solve this problem. Christian faith is to recognize two points : the inveterate sin of man, my sin, and the solution proposed by the God of love.

Before accepting Christ as Savior and Lord, did you recognize your state of sin ? Without sin, by guilt, no judgment you don't need a lawyer, no need of Savior, therefore no need of Jesus Christ ! Now God declares : "There is no righteous, not even one" (Romans 3:10).

To hide this reality, man has tried everything : religions, customs, rites, laws or constraints to make himself better. But none of these attempts have improved the human being, nor solved the problem of sin. Only the love and grace of God provide the solution. The sacrifice of Jesus, the Son of God, on the cross, made the separation between God and humanity disappear. But this separation has disappeared only for those who accept Jesus as Savior and Lord. Did you take this step ?
