What is the purpose of your life ?

You can really go wrong on what you are living with God. Many Christians see God in the slightest circumstances of their lives, even though he is not the author of them. People in the world get married and have children. They have promotions at work and own houses, and they, too, find an empty parking space in the city. And God has nothing to do with that.

It is true that the rain falls on the wicked and on the righteous, and that all excellent grace and every perfect gift come down from above, from the Father of lights, but what is this grace ? What is this gift ? Is it gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, thatch ? It's more. I believe it is the kingdom and justice of God. I believe that it is about the works of God. You have been created in Jesus Christ for good works, which God has prepared in advance for you, so that you may practice them.

Jesus spoke of this man who had many goods in store for several years, but who was completely mistaken about the purpose of his life. The purpose of our life is not to be blessed ! The purpose of our life is not to receive house, spouse, children, money, and all the things that the world can know and receive, then to die and go to heaven. If that were so, God would take us back directly because Heaven has much better to offer us ! The purpose of our life is to do the will of the one who saved us, and to accomplish his work ! As long as we do not act according to his will and do not do it in the concrete way of life, we will deceive ourselves.

Many are seduced and deceived by false reasoning. I'm sure you do not want that in your life. I believe that deep down in your heart, you want to do the works of your Father. I think you want to please him in all things.
