"Never depart from this law, then you will succeed in everything you do." Joshua 1.7
Peter McWilliams said : "Avoiding situations where you could go wrong is probably the biggest mistake of all."
What does it take to succeed in life ? The situations. Do you feel stuck in a stalemate ? Maybe you would like to study but you can not afford it. You would like to change jobs but you are trapped in your salary or fear of losing your retirement. You may be trapped by a physical disability or illness.
Forget what you can not change, focus on what you can change
The secret to getting out is to separate the situations that you can change from those that are unavoidable. Almost everything in life can be changed or approached differently. But that can not always be done at the moment.
Take inventory of things you can change. Too many people fail and persist in failure because they want to change what can not be. Do not hit your head against a wall, and be realistic. Make the difference between faith and fiction. Someone said : "For every problem here below, there is a remedy, or not, if there is a solution, go and find it, and if there is none, especially do not worry. do not do."
God has given you specific gifts. Discover them, develop them, show them, and it will give you success even if the probabilities seem tiny. Forget what you can not change, focus on what you are able to change, and the opportunities come on their own.
A thought for today
As Hannibal said during his famous crossing of the Alps : "Either we will find a passage, or we will do it ourselves." You too need this state of mind !
