When God is by your side

“But was with him and delivered him from all his tribulations.” Acts 7.10

Many birds fly in formation, but eagles are always solitary. To better understand the power of God in your life, you will need to learn to fly alone. Of course, it's okay to enjoy the company and advice of those you trust, but they don't have to approve of your actions. God wants you to depend on Him alone. In Genesis we see that Joseph had a dream where he saw all his brothers bow down to him. When he told them, his life took a turn for the worse ! “Jealous of Joseph, they sold him…” (Acts 7. 9). Be careful, if you enjoy divine blessings, you run the risk of provoking jealous people ! Although Joseph found himself sold into slavery for being too impulsive, yet God was with him and accompanied him everywhere. The day your usual support disappears you must learn to rely on God alone. God worked in Joseph's life for many years before he could use him. He was betrayed by his family, wrongly accused by Potiphar's wife and forgotten in prison, but God was shaping his character and teaching him talents that would one day make him ruler of Egypt and lead him to save. the famine people of God. The Bible says : “If God is for us, who will be against us” (Romans 8:31). God can rearrange the circumstances around you and plan events to put you where He wants you, all while preparing you for your future. And all this because, when you follow the destiny that He has marked out for you, "everything works together for the good of those who love God, who are called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28).
