When God Open a Door

"When they had passed the first guard, then the second, they came to the iron gate that leads to the city, and opened itself before them ..." Acts 12:10

For a while in my life, I experienced a period of unemployment that was very complicated to manage since I had 4 dependent children and no diploma.

Do not cry and do not waste your time in front of doors that remain closed.

Every day, I went to ANPE with the hope of finding a job. When I managed to get an appointment, the first thing I did was to pray to God with a multitude of arguments that I found just and praiseworthy to convince him : "Lord, look at my children, I must feed them, We have so much financial need, give me that job please !"

Despite this, most of the time I was refusing and I did not understand why the doors were closed ...

One day the Lord woke me up with the strong conviction that I had to go to the employment agency because there was a job waiting for me.

The job for which I was selected consisted of working in a kitchen for 15 days. During our interview, the director had been clear : "you are replacing someone who is on vacation." The paradox was that in my opinion, I was convinced that God had just opened a door for me !

In the end, I was not mistaken, since three years later I became responsible for the transport of patients. I led a team of 15 people, attended executive meetings and my salary had tripled. This is called divine promotion !

Whether in the school, family, professional or other fields, throughout your life you will find yourself in front of doors. These doors symbolize an access, a promotion or a deep desire to which you aspire.

However, one thing is important: know how to discern the will of God! The doors that God opens are not necessarily the greatest, but the most secure, the most fulfilling and the most glorious.

When God opens a door, it is not to drive you out or leave you on the landing. He knows your qualifications, your expectations and he will always give you the best !

"The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, you will always be above and you will never be down" (Deuteronomy 28:13).

Do not weep or waste your time in front of the doors that remain closed, but cross those that God opens to you ; For when he opens them no one in the world can close them !
