Where is jesus ?

Truly I tell you, every time you've done this to one of these least of my brethren, you've done it to me. Matthew 25.40

Do you know the "Where's Charlie" series of books? Within each image the reader should find a small character, Charlie, lost in a colorful crowd or a drawing full of detail.

Many people say they would believe in Jesus if only they could see him.

"Where is Jesus ? It is very simple : He is in your neighbor."

Others seek Jesus in all kinds of pilgrimages, seminars, studies, teachings, artistic expression, places of worship, etc. This quest is not bad in itself, but it is quite insufficient to find Jesus.

Jesus himself teaches that when he comes in his glory he will sort out those he knows and those he has "never known", between those who know and those who do not know where he is.

Do you want to find Jesus ? It is extremely simple, you will find out by :

1 / feeding those who are hungry and thirsty, whether their need is physical or spiritual,

2 / welcoming the foreigner, the one who is alone, rejected, without family, the migrant, etc.

3 / putting on the one who is naked, who has lost his dignity, who has nothing left,

4 / visiting the sick, the one who suffers, who is in the hospital, who bears his pain,

5 / going to the one who is in prison, a physical, psychic or spiritual prison.

Jesus left his heaven of glory, his position as King, his comfort, his wealth, to identify with the poorest, unhappy, suffering, rejected... of this earth. Not just to identify with but to take their place and offer them dignity, acceptance, healing, restoration, happiness, love.

Where is jesus ? It's very simple : He is in your neighbor. Love him and you will love Jesus. Feed, welcome, clothe, visit Jesus every day.

Jesus is so easy to find !

A decision for today

Lord Jesus, I want to see you today. Show me who to help concretely, for whom to pray, who to love, who to welcome. I decide to find you in the one you put in front of me.
