Where to find justice ?
Thus the law is lifeless, the right is without force, for the wicked triumphs over the just and corrupt judgments are rendered. Habakuk 1.4
Every man carries within him an ideal of peace and security. But the news is so contrary to this aspiration (Habakkuk 1.3)... Frustrated, some accuse God of inaction : “Why does God allow injustice and violence ? Others try to establish rules that would allow humanity to function better. They invent a common base of human rights where the strong will no longer oppress the weak. But even the law is not enough to contain evil ! In his time, the prophet Habakuk observed that the law had no life, that justice had no force, that corruption prevailed...
Nothing has changed in the world, evil always comes from the sin of men. And God will do justice in his time! Fortunately, in his plan, there are his compassions (See the suggested reading)... May your heart not be troubled. Believe in God, and believe in me, Jesus said (John 14:1). In him, man is called to place his trust in God, to obtain his forgiveness for his faults and to receive his eternal salvation. In the Bible, (it is my experience) you will discover the voice of God to guide you, his strength to carry you and his shoulder to comfort you. Despite the difficulties, like Habakuk, you will say (See suggested reading) : I want to rejoice in the God of my salvation.
