Where to find wisdom ?

Searching the Scriptures

But where can you find wisdom ? Where is the location of intelligence ? Job 12.28

In the grip of all his problems, Job was led to ask himself deep questions, about himself, about God and about life itself. He urgently needed to know what to do, to understand the meaning of his life.

The friends who had gathered around him seemed to have all the answers. But Job understood that if they had knowledge and knowledge, they lacked true wisdom and understanding.

Job knew that nature was a mine of teachings and that problems and difficult times can teach us essential lessons ; however, he wanted the source. True wisdom. True intelligence (Job 28.13-22).

What could he do ? Who could he turn to ? Job realized that he had to look to God and to God alone. Because "it is God who knows how to reach her, it is he who knows her location" (Job 28.23).

So where can we find wisdom and intelligence ? The Bible tells us in Job 28:28 : "The fear of the Lord is what wisdom consists of. To depart from evil, this is what understanding consists."

Today the world is filled with all kinds of specialists : scholars, scientists, advisers, even friends and family, in short, people who are perhaps brilliant and possess extensive knowledge ; but nothing rivals true wisdom and true intelligence.

Are you wondering about your life ? Do you need wisdom and intelligence ? Make sure to seek them out from God ! He alone can give true wisdom and intelligence. Humble yourself in front of him. Seek his face. Fear him. May his Word abound in your life. Pray. Don't be fooled, but get straight to the source.

Listen to the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God means. He has all the answers to your questions.

Praying is easy. Talk to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is an example of a prayer : "Father, I am looking for you and you alone. I need wisdom and understanding. I look to you who are the source."

Praise God

To praise God is to show him our gratitude. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a moment to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now dig deeper into what you have received. What can you do to apply what God has told you ? Write down the concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our route for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Thank you Lord for the wisdom and understanding you give to those who seek and place their hope in you. Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory, amen !"
