Wherever you go, God is there

For the place where you stand is holy ground. Exodus 3.5

Why did God reveal Himself to Moses in the middle of the desert, rather than in a popular and sacred high place ?

This question was regularly debated among Jewish scholars. They concluded that God wanted to show that no place on earth, not even a thorn bush, was without the presence of God.

One pastor wrote : “God is in the heights, but he is not lifted up. He is in the depths, but he is not sunk. He is on the outside, but he is not excluded. is within but he is not reclusive. God reigns over all things, sustains them, envelops them, and fills them." And here is the best : "It is God who produces in you to will and do it for his benevolent purpose" (Philippians 2:13).

"No, God is not narrow-minded."

Today, God lives in you, works in you, and gives you the desire to do the things that please Him. The following idea is interesting. Since God lives in you, avoid all the places he wouldn't like to go, all the situations that you know he wouldn't want to be. If you feel uncomfortable in the presence of a person or in a specific place, be vigilant. Perhaps the Holy Spirit is warning you that you are out of place, and that you should not be doing this. No, God is not narrow-minded. He only wants the best for you, so he keeps you from harm.

The Bible says : "For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord gives grace and glory ; he refuses no good to those who walk in integrity." (Psalm 84.12). Today, wherever you go, remember God is there !
