Who to watch ?

Let us run with perseverance..., keeping our eyes on Jesus, who gives birth to faith and leads it to perfection. Hebrews 12.1, 2

I can do anything through him who strengthens me, Christ. Philippians 4:13

Who to watch ?

If you look at those who succeed in life and make a fortune, do not envy them : riches are deceptive and lead us away from the Word of God (Mark 4:19)

If you are relying on your comfortable standard of living, be realistic : it changes like the weather does and offers no stability for your life of faith. Happy days will make you carefree, bad days will bring you anguish.

If you direct your gaze on the world which moves forward without God, he will disappoint you and will make many proposals to you to lead you towards sin.

If you only pay attention to yourself, you will become selfish, proud, or discouraged. The source of happiness is not in you. But look up to Jesus Christ, "who gives birth to faith and leads it to perfection." He is our goal, he is our strength. We can live everything with him by faith.

Be grateful to other Christians when their faith encourages you, for you feel "together by faith encourage" (Romans 1:12). But first look at Christ. He will give you the strength to continue with patience the path of faith until the goal where "we will see him as he is" (1 John 3.2).
