Whose fault is it ?
I started to think. I found it all too unfair until the day I entered the house of God. Psalm 73.16
Is it possible ? Is it imaginable ? This is our thinking when we hear, shocked, the news sweeping over us : disasters, accidents, murders, abominable practices...
Innocent people pay with their lives because wise rulers have kept silent for fear of ridicule or because temporal things have seemed more important to them.
Sometimes the toll is heavy, very heavy ! Every day, unfortunate people die of cold or of hunger in wars carried out to the limit. In some countries, thousands are perishing because international aid has been misappropriated by a few dishonest leaders. And the list is by far not closed...
But what is God doing in all of this ? Why is he silent ? Why these endless sad events ? Would man no longer have the right to happiness ?
Things are not easy. But history and the Bible show that man is not innocent in the course of events. The lush world, where everything was given to make people happy, has become, by the hand of man, a polluted, dangerous, unbalanced world, where it is said that everything is allowed.
God did not remain silent. He intervened to save the man from this desperate situation, the result of his own fault. God sent Jesus, his only son, to deliver us and change our hearts.
