Whose son is he ?

Nevertheless, for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom all things come and for whom we live, and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom all exists and through whom we live. 1 Corinthians 8: 6

In the end, one way or another, or at one time or another, we will be confronted with this question : what do you think of Christ ? Whose son is he ? If Jesus Christ is not what he claimed to be, he is a deceiver or an egotist. We must answer this question with conviction and action. We must not only believe in something about Jesus, but also do something about Him. We must accept it or reject it.

Jesus clarified who he was and why he came into the world. He asked his disciples : "Whom do they say that I am the Son of Man ?" They told him about various designations on the human level. Then Jesus turned to them and asked them : "But who do you say that I am ?" After which Peter responded with a historical affirmation : "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God" (Matthew 16: 13-16).

It is the summit of faith. It's the pinnacle of belief. This is where everyone's faith should rest if he hopes to be saved. Christ is unavoidable ! You too must decide : "What am I going to do with Christ ?"

Prayer for the day

You are the Christ, Lord Jesus, Son of the living God ! In adoration I adore you, my Redeemer.
