Work in unity

The LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the men were building, and he said : Here they are, one people, and all have one language, and this is what they have done ! Now nothing will hold them back from doing everything they have planned. Let's go ! Let's go downstairs and mess up their language so that they don't understand each other anymore. The LORD scattered them abroad from there upon the face of the earth. So they stopped building the city. Genesis 11: 5-8

Unity is an extremely powerful force. Unity works, whether for righteous purposes or for unjust purposes. The Word says that a house divided against itself cannot stand.

Unanimity works whether it is for the pious or the ungodly. In fact, the righteous have come to understand the power of unity better than the righteous can. Unjust men often come together around their sin and their priorities, and because of their unity they affect society.

"Unity gets things done"

Unity gets things done. One of Jesus’s last prayers, before his death and resurrection, was for the unity of his church.

A practice for today

There is great power in unity. When you walk and function in harmony with your wife, pastors, boss, coworkers, and fellow citizens, you will begin to see that nothing is impossible !
