"You know me"

The Lord asks us : "Do you think I see exactly what you are suffering right now ?"

Perhaps, while you are reading this message, are you going through something that requires that He act in your favor ? The very nature of your problem requires an answer.

Do you think that God carefully examines each of your movements in the same way that a father watches over his child ? Do you believe that He is at work as a loving and caring Father - gathering in a bottle each of your tears, hearing each of your sighs, present near you ?

This is exactly how the Bible describes it to us : "The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cries ... When the righteous cry, the Lord hears, and he deliver them from all their troubles" (Psalms 34: 15-17).

"As a father has compassion on his children, the Lord has compassion on them that fear him" (Psalm 103:13).

The Hebrew term for compassion means "pampering, loving, pitying." Scripture tells us that God cages in his arms those who fear Him (those who believe in Him). And He said to you : "I know all your thoughts, all your concerns. I know each of the battles you have to face. And I care."

David wrote a well-known passage on this subject : "O LORD, thou knowest me. You know when I sit and when I get up, You penetrate my thoughts from afar ; You know when I walk and when I lie down, And you penetrate all my ways. For the word is not upon my tongue, O LORD ! you know it entirely" (Psalms 139: 1-4).

"How precious are thy thoughts to me, O God ! How great is the sum ! If I want to count them, they are more numerous than the sand. If I wake up, I am still with you" (139: 17-18 Darby version).

David says : "God knows all about me. He sees each of my movements, each of my thoughts. Everywhere I turn, He is there."
