You must pray

"Seeing this, all murmured, and said : He went to lodge with a sinful man. But Zacchaeus, standing before the Lord, said to him : Behold, Lord, I give to the poor half of my goods, and if I have done something wrong to anyone, I will restore him fourfold." (Luke 19: 5-8).

After an evening in your company, the sinner will think of you. His last thoughts, on his bed, will be for you. If you acted in the Spirit, if you said the words that God inspired you, if you refused the fear, if you refused the compromise, if you prayed, he will think of you and his conscience will work it. He will not tell you anything and leave your home as if nothing had happened, but he will be worked in his heart. That's why you have to pray.

You should pray as soon as he leaves your home. While you are tidying up the table and doing the dishes and cleaning, you should pray. Sometimes it will be impossible for you to clean up because the Holy Spirit will seize you and you will begin to enter into intercession. The Holy Spirit will seize your available heart, and you will stand in your position of intercessor. Moses had a heart so great that he managed to say : "Forgive now their sin ! Otherwise, erase me from your book that you wrote" (Exodus 32:32). Oh, it's amazing what intercessory prayer can bring us to declare.

It is your prayer that will act. The sinner may forget some of the things you told him, but your prayer will be like a hammer chasing him to break the rock of his hard heart. He may send you a message asking you to pray for him. It is also possible that he cries on his bed, without saying anything to you. But one thing is certain, it is that "the fervent prayer of the just has a great efficiency" (James 5:16).

Your prayer is powerful, so pray with all your heart !
