Your three best weapons

If indeed we live in the human reality, we do not fight in a purely human way. 2 Corinthians 10.3

Through cunning strategy and skillful deception, Satan is waging war against you and trying to keep you in a defeat mentality, but God has given you spiritual weapons to use against him.

Here are the three main spiritual weapons to use against the enemy.

The Word of God. Receive it through preaching, teaching, reading, and personal Bible study. Stay in the Word until it becomes revelation communicated by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Praise. It takes down the enemy faster and more effectively than any other battle plan, but it must come from a sincere heart and not just be a religious rite or lip service.

Prayer. It consists in being in relationship with God, in communicating with him. It is asking him for help or talking with him about what is on your heart. To have an effective prayer life, we must develop an intimate and personal relationship with the Father. Know that He loves you and wants to help you.

It is war, but God is fighting on your side and has given you the weapons you need. Use them to scare away Satan !

Listen the voice of God

Let's take the time to listen to what God wants to say. What weapon is God asking you to wield in your situation ?

Praying is simple. Speak to God as you would your closest friend. God loves you and he can hear everything. Here is a sample prayer : "Lord, thank you for giving me the spiritual weapons I need to fight the enemy. With your help, I know I can win the battle today ! Amen."

Praise God

To praise God is to express our gratitude to him. Today, what are your subjects of recognition ? Take a time to thank the Lord.

Act today

Now, deepen what you have received. What can you put in place to apply what God has told you ? Write down concrete actions you can take.

Honor the Lord

Our journey for the day ends. Let us pray together to honor our God.

"Lord, I thank you, for I am more than conqueror through you who loved me. To you be the reign, the power and the glory, amen !"
