Your choises determine your future

"I have witnessed against you heaven and earth today : I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse : choose life, that you may live, you and your seed" . Deuteronomy 30.19

It is said that the results of decisions and choices we made in the past determine our future. Good choices will involve bright destinies ... but the opposite is also true.

Every decision you make will affect many people. Our decisions affect much more than the circumstances of our own lives. The choices we make today can have an impact on the future of our children and our grandchildren. Do you take wise decisions, thus leaving a solid legacy to the generation that follows you, once you are no longer of this world ?

We will all leave an inheritance. But it is up to each of us to determine whether this legacy is positive or negative. When we make constructive choices, investing our time and money wisely, developing relationships with positive people, we leave behind a solid foundation on which others can build. Conversely, when we make unreasonable decisions and choose to spend our time and money stupidly, or cling to people who do not care about our highest aspirations, we give our children and grandchildren a burden Which they will have trouble getting rid of.

You see, death and life, blessings and curses do not fall on you, by chance! These things are not only the result of random circumstances that take place in our lives. We were given the responsibility to make the right choices.

Let me give you a very good example! As a parent, you can not afford to place your work before your family. If you live by looking for a better professional career, seeking to earn more money and gain more success, without giving your family time, you will all pay a very high price. You can tell yourself that you are doing this for your family. But one day, the choices you made will come back to concern you. You will realize that you have not developed any relationship with your children. They never come to visit you because you never gave them time when they were young. They had to learn to live their lives without even knowing what a relationship is with a parent. It's a pretty difficult legacy, is not it ?

The truth is that no one of us lives in a jar. The decisions we take every day, even the smallest ones, can have rather significant effects. Every decision you make will affect many people. Such as ripples caused by a simple stone thrown into the water, your decisions will continue to touch other people for years to come. Thinking that your negative behavior does not affect anyone is a lie that you can not afford to believe.

A question for today

Do you want to leave blessings or curses behind you ? You have the power to choose ! The battle for your future and the future of those who will succeed you is at stake. Today, decide to start making the kind of choices that will benefit others, for future generations.
