The American author Brené Brown could say this : "Vulnerability is our most accurate measure of courage." What image do you have of vulnerability ? Our education or society often gives us a distorted or truncated image of vulnerability. It is considered a weakness, something we sometimes succumb to "unfortunately", without our knowledge ...

In reality, vulnerability is not a bad thing, quite the contrary. Do you know that it is through your vulnerability that Jesus entered your heart ? When we recognize our need to be forgiven, saved from our sins ... This is what the Bible calls repentance. Yes, vulnerability opens our hearts. She puts us naked. She makes us sincere. It takes away anything that could block the door of our heart ...

Do not be afraid of your vulnerability, especially not before God. He will never use it against you. On the contrary, it will gently come to the bottom of your heart, speak to you, reveal itself, and fill your deepest needs. Dare to be vulnerable today. Dare to show you what you are. Your Father knows you perfectly. He came to this world as someone sweet and humble of heart. He wants you only good. Jesus said : "Accept to let yourself be led by me and go to school, for with all my heart I am gentle and humble, so your life will find fulfillment in rest." Matthew 11.29

An action for today

If you feel unable to do something good today, do not hide behind a forced smile, or behind a "false belief" that you seek to apply to yourself ("I'm fine, everything is fine"). Jesus, he really sees you and it is he who makes you capable : you can let yourself go to recognize your vulnerability, it will only glorify him more.
