Life passes like the morning sleep. Like grass that grows in the morning it flourishes, it grows ; the evening it fades, it is dry (...). Time for a sigh, she comes to an end "Psalm 90.5-12.
Time passes very quickly ! The end of the path of any man that is physical death. Your time on earth is limited, so it is important to count your days. The body wears but the soul has to stay fresh. One day, we asked an old pastor how he was. By a metaphor between his body and a building he responded with humor : "The house is falling apart but the tenant goes ☺".
"Jesus did many other things as if they were written in detail, I do not think the world itself could contain the books that would be written"
Recently, I went to the national convention of my movement of churches. We honored a pastor 93 years old, Lucien Vivier. When he spoke, he said that sentence that questioned all the servants of God present : "I gave everything in my lifetime, death has nothing to me."
Jesus lived only 33 years, but he gave everything. Its impact has changed the world. Today, it is considered the cornerstone of civilization, a true Master to think, even by atheist philosophers. There is a before and after Jesus. During his life on earth, he has forgotten no education, no cure, it has nurtured, encouraged and strengthened all possible souls. His life was completely filled. The apostle John goes on to say that "Jesus did many other things as if they were written in detail, I do not think the world itself could contain the books that would be written" John 21:25.
A decision for today
I decided to give everything, to fully live my life without excuse and without fear in the image of my Lord. Amen!
